2013 Russian River Cabernet Sauvignon..GOLD..San Francisco Chronicle
While primarily known for cool-weather varieties, the warmer northern end of the Russian River Valley produces great Cabernet Sauvignon as well, especially on the hillsides above the fog deck, where the sun shines all day. Here we can make a Cabernet Sauvignon that emphasizes ripe fruit over herbs and is ready to drink from day one.

- Fermentation- Bin fermented, complete malolactic
- Aging- 30% new American and French oak, 20 months
